THE ADECCO GROUP SIGNS COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH XI'AN GOVERNMENT
(Dec.12, 2017, /staffingindustry.com/)Stephan Howeg, chief marketing and communications officer of The Adecco Group, signed an agreement with Xi’an government to promote the development of the human resource services industry, the company announced Wednesday. Xi’an is the capital of Shanxi Province in central China.
The agreement was signed during a meeting hosted by the Xi’an Municipal Government between Adecco and the Beijing FESCO group.
“For a record, I can say we have discussed how to cooperate in terms of talent development, talent recruiting and sourcing nationally and internationally,” Howeg said. “And we believe that we can add our expertise as a Fortune 500 company to local enterprises, while at the same time learning from the innovation we saw yesterday within the increasing pool of talent that is planning to make Xi'an a talent hub.”
Adecco is optimistic about China, Howeg said when asked about future strategies for Adecco in the country.
Howeg also discussed how a government can reform policy to assist the HR services sector as well as cross-cultural management in a question-and-answer presentation.
