1、in the way
▍擋路
You just arranged matters so that no one was in the way.
你僅僅只需要把一切都安排好， 這樣就不會有人擋道了。
▍妨礙人的
I will visit you on Sunday, if there is nothing gets in the way.
如果沒有什麼妨礙的話， 我將在星期日去拜訪你。
▍礙手礙腳的
Mary tried to clean the house, but her baby got in the way.
瑪麗想打掃房子， 可是她的孩子總是礙手礙腳的。
2、on the way
▍在半路上， 在途中
on the way是在路上
I saw him on the way home.
我在回家路上見到了他。
But on the way, some of the rather ordinary questions stopped me.
但是在探索途中， 一些實在平常的問題卻困住了我。
▍快到了
你都已經在路上了， 是不是也快到目的地了， 所以on the way也可以說， 快到了。
Let’s wait a few moments. He’s on the way.
咱們等一會兒， 他快到了。
3、in a way
▍在某種程度上
世界上有很多的way， 這裡 in a way， 就是選擇其中一條， 也就是從某一程度上。
In a way I felt cheated.
在某種程度上， 我有上當受騙的感覺。
4、By the way
▍順便說一下
表示在說某一件事情的時候， 突然想起另一件事。
而一般貌似是by the way後面的話更重點一些。
By the way, what do you think about this Team?
