A told B, and B told C,"I'll meet you at the top of the coconut tree."

"Whee!"said D to E F G,"I'll beat you to the top of the coconut tree."

Here comes H up the coconut tree,
這時H也爬到了椰子樹上。
and I and J and tag along K,
K尾隨著I和J
all on their way up the coconut tree.

Mama sand Papas and uncles and aunts
媽媽爸爸和叔叔阿姨
hug their little dears,then dust their pants.
抱著他們的小寶貝， 弄髒了他們的褲子。
"Help us up,"cried A B C
"幫我們一把"ABC叫道
Next from the pileup skinned-knee D
撞倒了邊上膝蓋擦破皮的D
and stubbed-toe E and patched-up F.
腳趾骨折了的E和修補過了的F
The comes G all out of breath.
G鑽出來透了一口氣.
H is tangled up with I.
H和I糾纏在了一起
J and K are about to cry.
J和K都快要哭了
L is knotted like a tie.
L打成了一個領帶結
M is looped.
M扭成了一個圈
N is stooped.
N折彎了腰
O is twisted alley-oop.
O整個都扭曲了，哦——

Look who's coming!
看誰下來了？
It's black-eyed P, Q R S,
