英語口語：“搭順風車”， “我捎你一段路”用英語怎麼說？
今天， 我們學習一個可能不太常用到的英語表達：
1. Can I have a lift?
中文是“可以搭個順風車嗎？”
問題是：英語是什麼？能中英文都能說， 左右開弓， 我們的英語口語才算“厲害”：
When we say Can I have lift, we are asking/we are requesting for a ride in someone's car. It means：
Would you please give me a ride (in your car)?
這就是“搭順風車”的“英語意思”， 也算是“英語口語”。
Example：
If you're going to that part of town, can I have a lift?
搭順風車只是“順路車”， 不一定是a free ride(免費的)， 所以我們還說：
I'll give you money for gas/gasoline/petrol.
2. I will give you a lift
中文是“我可以捎帶你一程”。 英語呢？
When we say I can give you a lift, it means I can give you a ride in my car. I'll provide transportation,or a seat for you in my car.
注意：to carpool is different from to take a lift.
