今天我們就來梳理梳理。
該短語有兩個主要意思，
即：（火車等）進站、到達；吸引。
如：
進站：The train drew in and all the passengers got off. （列車緩緩駛進了車站， 所有的乘客都下了車。 ）
吸引：It's stupid trying to draw in customers with prizes and gifts! （想用獎品和禮品引來顧客是愚蠢的事！）
該短語主要表示“撤回、收回；退卻”。
如：
收回：He will not draw back from what he has promised. （他允諾過的事是不會收回去的。 ）
退卻：The dog drew back in terror when it saw the snake. （那狗看到這條蛇時， 害怕得縮了回去。 ）

停住：A taxi draw up in front of the house. （一輛計程車在房子前面停了下來。 ）
該短語主要表示“脫去；轉移、離開”。
如：
脫去：Please help me to draw off these muddy boots. （請幫我脫掉這滿是泥漿的靴子。 ）
離開：The enemy's heavy losses forced them to draw off. （敵軍傷亡慘重， 被迫撤退。 ）
除了以上短語以外， 以下有關draw的短語也是較為常用常考的。
（一）draw on該短語主要表示“利用；吸收”。 相當於draw upon。 如：
利用：He did not know the true story, so he draw on his imagination. （他不知道事情的真相， 於是乎就憑空捏造了。 ）
吸收：In making plans we must draw on workers' suggestions. （ 在定計劃時， 要吸收工人的意見。 ）
該短語表示“取出；拉長”。 如：
取出：Do you have any tools to draw out the cork? （你有工具把軟木塞拔開嗎？）
拉長：The days are drawing out now that it's spring. （春天到來， 白晝越來越長了。 ）
該短語表示“得到；提取”。 如：
得到：What inferences can we draw from these facts? （從這些事實中我們可以推出什麼結論?）
提取：Hou much money are you going to draw from the bank? （你準備從銀行取多少錢?）
該短語表示“靠近；臨近”。
如：
He sat down upon a table and motioned me to draw near. （他卻又坐在一個餐桌前面作手勢要我過去。）
