The Russian Premier League opens the gates one more season to welcome the well-known Rubin Kazan club based in the big city of Kazan in the Republic of Tatarstan. They have not got good position last season 2016/2017 (9th place) for a regular club in European competition in recent years, winning team the Russian Premier League championship in 2008 and 2009.
Kazan will count with Kurban Berdyev as a new head coach after sacking the Spaniard Javi Gracia and hired two new players Fyodor Kudryashov and Vladimir Granat to face the Igor Shalimov’s squad. Krasnodar, fourth place last season performed pretty well in general lines obtaining these last four years similar positions on the table (2013/2014 - 5th) (2014/2015 – 3rd) (2015/2016 – 4th) (2016/2017 – 4th)
According to the recent results, Rubin Kazan have failed to score in 5 of their last 6 home matches in the Premier League starting a new season with too many doubts, while FC Krasnodar have maintained their backbone and they were not defeated in their preseason matches.
In spite of being the first game I will dare to say Krasnodar and a handicap +1 is the great value bet here.
