Jaroslav Silhavy has built a very strong team in Prague in his first season in charge of Slavia winning the title the same way he did years ago with Slovan Liberec. After a very successful summer in friendly games and the transfer window they start the season with a very hard match as they host the Belarusian champions, a Bate Borisov team that has already overcome one round of the Champions League, where they beat Alashkert in an aggregate of 4-2. They also are in the middle of the season with 15 games in and has the confidence of winning their last four away games, scoring 12 and conceding only two goals.
This will be the first time Bate and Slavia play each other and even if the hosts should be favourites here, Bate will keep the tie alive in order to play the second game in Belarus with chances of going through.
