這出自莎翁的《馬克白》， 是不是覺得特別有韻律有節奏？那麼這節奏是怎麼出來的呢？除了句末的fair和air押韻， 還有alliteration（頭韻）的大功。 Fair， foul， fog， filthy都以f這個輔音作詞頭 ， 這四個詞押頭韻。

頭韻alliteration指the repetition of the same consonant sound in a line, especially at the beginning of successive words 句子中相同的輔音重複出現， 尤其是在相近詞的詞頭。 押頭韻的句子聽起來更琅琅上口， 也很好記。 總之就是一個字， 爽。

除了詩， 我們在生活中也處處能發現alliteration的身影。 俚語、廣告標語甚至是品牌名都大量運用alliteration。

不是字面上看到的像黃瓜一樣涼爽哈哈， 黃瓜算是比喻一種冷靜的狀態~

Ø I can’t believe that! How could she keep as cool as a cucumber when cursed by her boyfriend?

真不敢相信！她的男友這樣咒駡她， 她還能保持鎮定。

l Green as grass少不更事；像青草般綠

綠色代表生命力， 新的事物， 所以我們有green hand 表示新手， green as grass描述人少不更事， 沒有經驗， 當然也可以是字面上的像青草般綠。

Ø You don't have to be that worried about this simple situation, don't make a mountain out of a molehill.

l Last laugh 笑到最後

形容歷經困難， 堅持到最後並取得勝利。
