“林医生方案与紫薇之谜:治疗之路与家庭风云

“Dr. Lin, do you expect me to stay in the hospital? Absolutely not. There's chaos at the company without me there, what if things spiral out of control?”
I rejected the idea immediately. The company was in disarray, and I couldn't afford to be away, unsure of what would ensue in my absence.
Dr. Lin looked at me with a mix of compassion and exasperation. “I understand your concerns, but the best treatment plan for you is to be admitted. Your condition is severe depression, and it requires住院 treatment.”
“I’m well aware of the severity, Dr. Lin. But I’m not ready to leave my responsibilities behind so easily. Can we not just continue with the medication as the primary treatment?”
Dr. Lin nodded, “Of course, medication is crucial. But along with that, we need to incorporate psychological and physical therapy. The physical therapy I understand, but the psychological treatment...”
“I assume you mean a dedicated therapist?” I raised an eyebrow, intrigued but cautious.
Dr. Lin sighed gently. “We were ready to assign one, but your sister has other plans. She insists on handling the psychological treatment herself.”
“A sister?” I was taken aback. “I don’t have a sister, Dr. Lin. Did you get the wrong person?”
The doctor's eyes widened slightly. “No, the girl claims to be your sister. Let me describe her: she’s tall, with shoulder-length hair, a melon-seed face, and carries a strong scholarly aura. She doesn’t wear glasses, but her氣質 speaks volumes. This girl has received a high education.”
The description fit someone perfectly—the same someone who had infiltrated the hospital to investigate me. It was none other than Jo Ziwei. She had come to the hospital under the guise of being my sister and had been gathering information about my condition.
Dr. Lin seemed oblivious to my sudden paleness. “Each patient requires a unique treatment plan tailored to their needs. Considering your case, severe depression, inpatient treatment is the best option, but if you prefer not to, we can still proceed with a combination of medication, psychological therapy, and physical therapy.”
“Physical therapy, I get. But what do you mean by psychological therapy? Do you mean assigning a psychologist to me?”
Dr. Lin's face softened with a wry smile, “Of course, but your sister isn’t having it. She’s determined to treat you in her own way.”
“The what? My sister? I don’t have a sister, Dr. Lin. Could you have got it wrong?”
“No, this girl says she’s your sister. What’s her appearance like?”
“Dr. Lin, can you describe her to me?” My breathing quickened as I thought about it.
Dr. Lin pondered for a moment before proceeding with his description. “She’s tall, with shoulder-length hair, a melon-seed face, and a strong scholarly aura. She’s not wearing glasses, but her education level is evident from her氣質 alone.”
It was Jo Ziwei. She had come to the hospital, posing as my sister, to investigate my situation. According to Dr. Lin’s description, I instantly thought of her. She must be the one.
Dr. Lin continued his explanation. “Severe depression patients need more than just medication. Under the guidance of a psychologist, cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive psychotherapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, and psychodynamic therapy can help improve their mood and help them return to a normal life.”
“And what you mean by not making family life too monotonous is...” I raised an eyebrow, confused.
Dr. Lin looked at me with a hint of amusement. “What's wrong? Isn’t that obvious?”
“Is it? Because it seems quite straightforward to me.”
Dr. Lin shook his head, “I thought you would ask about something else. It seems you understand perfectly.”
My brow furrowed. I couldn’t help but remember the words Jo Ziwei had spoken to me just before she got drunk. She had mentioned that she and Anxin had discussed moving into my house together.
This brought a huge suspicion to mind. Since Jo Ziwei had returned from abroad, hadn’t she and Anxin planned their move to my house, influentially altering my family life?
The questions swirling in my mind, I was eager to confront her. Yet, if I were straightforward with her, I was sure she would not tell me the truth. Thus, the breakthrough seemed to lie with Anxin, the assistant.
Why had this young woman, previously just flirtatious with words, suddenly become more daring, her actions brimming with confidence?
Could it be that she and Jo Ziwei had a premeditated plan? If so, their efforts to 'spice up' my life must have been well thought out.
As I approached the hospital exit, I saw Anxin, her expression tense, barking orders at the security manager. Her commanding presence made me smile to myself.
“I say, Anxin, your authority is a bit over the top, isn't it? A security manager getting bullied like that?”
Anxin turned around, her face lighting up upon seeing me. “President, I was worried you had left without a word. I thought you were disappearing again.”
This is what she said. “We decided to move in together with Anxin, after much discussion.”
This was a huge revelation. Since Jo Ziwei had returned from abroad, hadn’t she and Anxin planned their move into my house, presumably to spice up my family life? That explained the bizarre scenes of 'two women fighting for one man,' a shocker indeed.
Could it be that all of this was because Jo Ziwei had moved into my house, understanding my condition and wanting to make my family life more vibrant?
Mulling over these thoughts, I was eager to confront her. However, I knew that she would not reveal the truth if I asked point-blank. Hence, the key was to find out from Anxin.
After obtaining the medication, I rushed back to the company. Upon returning to the office building, I saw Anxin talking to the security manager, her expression fierce.
“Can't you see? The president has left, and you haven't found him! Hurry up and find him, or you'll be held responsible.”
Anxin's imposing presence was astonishing. Even the security manager, Li Chao Ran, seemed cowed.
“I say, Anxin, your authority is a bit much, wouldn't you say? A security manager getting bullied like that?”
Anxin turned to see me and almost jumped with joy. “President, I thought you had left without a word. I was so worried you had disappeared again.”
“Anxin, was it you who got carried away with your authority, scolding the security manager?”
“No, no, President, he was at fault. We were just discussing how to find you.”
Now, Anxin blushed. “President, I'm sorry for scolding the security manager. I was just worried that something might happen to you.”
Li Chao Ran, with a smile on his face, “Ms. Anxin, you're too intimidating. I'm a special forces soldier, but I'm at risk of being shattered by your power.”
I waved my hand at Li Chao Ran. “Continue with your work. I was just out for some personal business.”
Li Chao Ran chuckled, “Oh, President, if you're going to be out for private matters in the future, you might want to inform me. Otherwise, the responsibility for losing you falls on me.”
Neither Anxin nor I replied, laughing as we walked into the office building together.
After returning to the president's office, Anxin, feeling guilty for her earlier behavior, approached my desk with a lowered head and said, “President, I was harsh with the security manager earlier. You won’t hold it against me, will you?”
