浙江故事:馬雲和他的阿裡巴巴

馬雲和他的阿裡巴巴,在業界已經被賦予太多的傳奇色彩。剝離光環,回歸本真,這家公司究竟能帶給我們怎樣的啟示?

Much legendary stories have added to Ma Yun and his Alibaba. Once the company is removed the halo and returns to reality, what enlightenment can it bring us on earth?

1995年,在美國第一次接觸互聯網的馬雲決定在中國成立一個互聯網公司,他要做一個網站,把中國的企業收集起來向全世界展示。

In 1995, Ma Yun who knew internet for the first time in America decided to found an internet company. He wanted to create a website to collect all the Chinese enterprises and showed them to the whole world.

1999年,初次創業失敗後,馬雲回到杭州,湊了50萬元本金創立了阿裡巴巴。先後獲得高盛和軟銀集團2500萬美元投資後的阿裡巴巴順風順水,馬雲也於2000年登上《福布斯》雜誌封面。

In 1999, experiencing his first entrepreneurship failure, Ma Yun came back to Hangzhou and set up Alibaba with principal of 500,000 yuan. Receiving 25 million dollars from Goldman Sachs Group and Soft Bank China Capital successively, Alibaba developed successfully and Ma Yun was on the cover of Forbes.

2003年,馬雲創建淘寶網,向當時全球C2C領域的領頭羊eBay發起挑戰。eBay遂與多家主流網站結成“同盟”,對抗淘寶。正當淘寶處於水深火熱之時,eBay宣佈對會員收費,馬雲即刻發聲:“淘寶在未來3年內都將免費!”這一決策也使eBay匆匆退出中國市場。

In 2003, Ma Yun established Taobao website and challenged eBay, the leader in the global C2C field. Ebay then aligned with other maintream websites and confronted Taobao. When Taobao was in deep distress, eBay pronounced that it would charge the VIPs and Ma Yun immediately claimed that Taobao would be free of charge for future 3 years. The decision forced eBay to leave Chniese market hurriedly.

同年十月,阿裡巴巴成功上線網上支付平臺支付寶,

並於2005年收購雅虎中國。至此阿裡巴巴的電子商務版圖的整體輪廓顯現。

In October, 2003, Alibaba successfully launched Alipay, an online payment sevice platform and purchased Yahoo, China in 2005. So far, the whole outline of the e-commerce domain of Alibaba appeared.

如今任何人都無法否認,阿裡巴巴已經成為了一個體量龐大的經濟體,正在對全球產生巨大的影響。

Now, there is no doubt that Alibaba has become the large-sized economic and exerts a huge effect on the whole world.
