我一個半大老頭了

As an old man,

寧願一人髒

I don’t mind getting dirty myself

換來百家淨

only if hundreds of families can enjoy a clean environment.

趙月芳（山西壺關縣郵政局郵遞員）：

大雪把整條路都封了

Once snow blocked the entire road,

就那一次我就摔了一跤

I fell over

摔了有十多米遠

and slid out for more than 10 meters.

余靜（安徽金寨縣花石鄉大灣村第一書記）：

我們大灣村很多的老百姓住起了新房子
