參考譯文：不久之前， 成為西方技術巨頭裡總裁可謂是夢寐以求的事。 這不僅是因為有滾滾財源， 還會贏得漫天喝彩：谷歌、臉譜、亞馬遜等西方科技企業此前一直讓世界變得更好。
解析：1）As the billions rolled in, so did the plaudits的翻譯需要注意幾點：roll in即修飾the billions， 也修飾the plaudits， 但在中文裡， 肯定不能只是同一個詞， 而是要根據billions和plaudit而分別使用相應的詞。 2）BAADD是一個首字母縮略組合詞， 在中文裡用“大壟癮滅主”， 這是一種很好的嘗試。 3）本譯文參考了@韓子茗 同學的譯本。
