Most Brazilians I met who decided to live in China were generally pretty happy there and most of them aren’t thinking in come back to our country. If China is good or not, I can’t say for sure, I’ve never being there. But in comparison to Brazil? Most of the things they have are better.

I moved in to China since one year now. In fact there are many things here which are nicer than in Brazil, my strongest positive impressions on security, social respect, value for knowledge, cult for tradition.
However I cannot say I am super-happy: it is very hard to adapt if you’re living out of an expat bubble (most Brazilians abroad are contained in expat communities) and you’re not planning on converting completely to Chinese culture, such as marrying a local and adopting their moral standards.
Were not Brazil so way down in the gutter right now, I’d happily go back. Perhaps my stance will change over time.

At this point in time, definitely China.
Like I said in another answer, Brazil has capacity to be a strong superpower — maybe, with luck, even stronger than China!
But it isn’t. Not now.
Corruption, economy problems, educational problems, health problems…
No. Definitely not. Even if that reality might change in four or five decades, at this moment, China is still stronger politically and economically.

Military? China of course.
China has the 2 or 3 strongest military in the world. Brazil, on the other hand, spends very little on its military, and most of this expending goes to wages, pensions and basic upkeep. Brazil only has a few billions to invest in materials for three different branches its defense, and its always the first to receive cuts from the government.
Because of that, most of Brazil’s equipment has 20–30 years.

Chinese know little about Brazil. We know Brazil is good at football and samba, that’s all. Very few people in China know how strong Brazil is. China/Chinese always aim at US instead of any other country.

In any aspect you choose. China is stronger than Brazil.
Economy. China’s stronger.
Military. China’s stronger.
International influence. China’s stronger.
But I’d still rather live here in Brazil than in China…
